This year's Tampa Bay Heart Walk is Saturday November 15th at Raymond James Stadium! I am once again honored to bring awareness to this important cause and serve as the Heart Walk emcee.

My family is why. I walk year after year because of my family's long history of heart disease and stroke. My father, mother, sister and brother have all battled severe cardiac problems. I want my children to know that family history is only one piece of the puzzle. Lifestyle choices also play a huge role and it's my mission to share that message.

I am grateful that my employer, WFLA TV, continues to help support my fundraising efforts. Heart disease is still the number one killer of men and women in the United States.
