I'm proud to be a Leaders of Impact Nominee
I'm excited to be nominated for the Leaders of Impact campaign this year. As part of this year's class of changemakers, I'm dedicated to making a lasting impact on the health of our community and hope that I can count on your support!
Despite many advances, cardiovascular disease is still the No.1 killer in the US. And while approximately 80% of cardiovascular disease could be prevented through a healthy diet, physical activity, a healthy weight, not smoking, controlled blood pressure, diabetes, and lipid levels - the disparities in access to care, nutrition, and healthy environments make achieving these goals far too difficult for far too many people. That's why I am committed to being a part of this relentless force for a world of longer, healthier lives.

Sacramento Leaders of Impact Fall 2025
Kim Lynch
I am honored to join this year's efforts as a 2025 Leaders of Impact Nominee. Today, I invite you to join me in supporting the American Heart Association's mission: providing community education and resources so that everyone has the chance to live a longer, healthier life.
From September 18 - November 5, my team's goal is to raise $10,000, which will go directly to AHA and the Heart of Sacramento mission. The Leaders of Impact initiative unites changemakers to raise awareness and funds for heart health in our local communities. Together, we are a relentless force, using our voices to advocate for heart health and raise awareness that cardiovascular disease remains the leading cause of death in America.
Like many of you, I have witnessed firsthand the devastating impact of cardiovascular disease. It takes a toll physically and emotionally - not just on the individual, but also on the family and friends who walk beside them. This is what inspired me to found Heart-to-Heart, a monthly Cardiac Support Group I have facilitated at Sutter Roseville Medical Center for the past year and a half. Seeing patients and families find hope and strength together reminds me why this mission matters so deeply.
That is why I am committed to being part of this cause, and why I am asking for your support. There are two simple ways you can help me save lives right now:
Join my team! Scroll down to the Team Roster and click "Join This Team" so we can raise awareness and funds together.
Make a donation! Click the "Donate to Nominee" button to make a tax-deductible, life-saving gift to my campaign.
Fundraising is open from September 18 at 9:00 am through November 5 at 9:00 pm.
I thank you in advance for supporting this incredible need. Together, we can ensure that more people not only survive heart disease, but thrive beyond it. Let's make an impact in our local community and across the country. I'm so grateful for your support!
