In 2015, I went through 6 months of chemotherapy for a rare blood cancer, along with 3 weeks of chest radiation. I was informed that one of the side effects was that I was at a higher risk of developing heart disease. In 2024, I had a mild heart attack a day after my 45th birthday. Thankfully, I suffered no permanent damage and my heart is functioning normal. Mentally, these past 2 years have been hard, but I made it and I thank God each and every day for saving me!
