9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. 

 

Architect Scott Neumann has his own personal story found at our TRO JB LinkedIn page. Cardiac arrests happen in homes, on athletic fields, or at work, as was the case for Scott. Our colleague, Doug McCurry who, thankfully, got Scott to the hospital in time, was the difference between life and death for our friend.

 

But we can all make a difference with a few actions: by donating to the Heart Association, recognizing heart event symptoms, learning CPR, and/or all of the above! ​

 

Scott and I represented TRO JB, jumping in at the last minute to participate and walk with pride, among all other walkers, young and old, catching up with friends along the way. ​
