Team Trela walks in loving memory of my mom, Linda, who we lost in late 2021 to complications from heart disease. She was the heart of our family, and we miss her every day.

Heart disease changes families forever, ours included. And while the statistics are tough, 9 out of 10 people who experience cardiac arrest outside a hospital don’t survive, there’s also hope. With more awareness, training, and support, lives can be saved.

That’s why we walk.

The Capital Region Heart Walk is our way of honoring Linda while supporting lifesaving research and CPR education so more people are prepared to act in critical moments.
