My story is on January 20, 2022 I woke up in the early hours to my husband and best friend of 23 years having a heart attack. I didn't recognize it at the time and neither did he. I later found out he was searching home remedies for heartburn just prior.

I woke up that day and my life as I knew it changed in that instant. I never fathomed in my worst dreams that something like this would happen. And I've since had to relearn how to live without my biggest support system.

My family, who has been by my side that morning and every day since, helped pull together the first uncled4563 team in Dave's memory that same year. UncleD4563 was Dave's handle in Fortnite. He had the most infectious laugh, the biggest heart, and he had this easy way of drawing people in, young and old. 

This will be our 5th year supporting the Heart Walk. I welcome and hope that you can join us in the Heart Walk and/or Run to raise funds for education and research toward curing heart disease and stroke.
