This year has been a big adventure so far! I went heliskiing in Alaska, ran with wild horses in the Outer Banks, and watched the changing of the Guard in London. But this was all after another brain aneurysm scare in January. And that's how it goes, with both my brain and my heart.
I have a choice every day - these health conditions can determine how I live, or I can determine how I live, to continue pushing the boundaries of what I can do, to fill my life with adventure, curiosity, and love.
Of course I worry about what's happening inside of me, but I don't let it define me.
When you see me, see the adventurer. I am not a sick person. I am an adventurer who happens to be sick.
Please help me share the love of adventure and gratitude that I carry in my heart.
With heart,
Kim the Explorer
