Hello!! I am reaching out today in hopes of touching your heart & wallet, lol! Seriously though we all know or are someone who has been affected by heart disease. I myself have hypertension. My mom has had open heart surgery. My father in law lost his father to a heart attack. I am asking for your help to continue to raise money for the AHA in efforts to continue the research towards treating the many cardiovascular conditions. Working in the CVICU @ UHS, I unfortunately see many younger folks being treated for various cardiac issues. This year alone, there has been an increase seen in sudden cardiac death. Some stem from diabetes, drugs and hypertension, but others are genetics and this is where a lot of the research is needed. Research and education are two things that can make a huge difference in cardiac outcomes. Please join me in supporting our local chapter of the American Heart Association!!
