Supporting the American Heart Association has always meant something special to me. Ever since elementary school, when I participated in Jump Rope for Heart, I remember learning how important heart health and lifesaving education truly are. Back then, I never realized how personal that mission would become later in life.
Today, this cause hits even closer to home. My daughter spent six years as a volunteer firefighter and had the opportunity to help save lives by performing CPR for people in critical moments. Watching her dedicate herself to helping others during some of the hardest moments of their lives made me incredibly proud and showed me just how important awareness, training, and quick action can be.
Like so many families, ours has also experienced the heartbreak of losing someone we loved to cardiac arrest — taken far too soon, without the chance for one last goodbye. That kind of loss changes you forever and is a reminder of why this mission matters so deeply.
This year, I’m proud to be walking alongside my coworkers at Masis Staffing Solutions in support of the American Heart Association and everyone impacted by heart disease and cardiac arrest. We walk to honor loved ones, support lifesaving research and education, and help create more moments where families get extra time together.
Thank you for supporting this important cause and helping make a difference.
