Heart disease has impacted my family in a very personal way. In 2007, my grandfather passed away after suffering a heart attack, and in 2023, my uncle also lost his life to heart disease. I walk in honor of them and to help raise awareness about the importance of heart health.
Every year, thousands of cardiac arrests happen outside of hospitals at home, at work, on athletic fields, and in our communities. Tragically, 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital do not survive, often because bystander CPR was not performed in time. But together, we can help change that.
Every dollar donated supports lifesaving CPR training, critical research, education, and programs that help turn bystanders into lifesavers.
