After years of struggling with soccer (heart racing), and lots of tests, ONE YEAR AGO,  it all came to a head. I faced a whirlwind of challenges,  six ambulance transfers, a diagnosis of a genetic condition, seizures, and the implantation of a life-saving defibrillator. My life has changed immensely over the past year, and I an incredibly grateful for my healthcare team and the medical advancements that have made a difference.

The ongoing research and clinical studies are essential, and I'm  grateful that I'm is doing well with my treatment plan. I am are also walking in honor of all our family members and friends who have faced various heart conditions and surgeries, and have thrived thanks to amazing medical care. Together, we can make a difference in heart health prevention, detection, and research/funding that may save a loved one's life one day, if it hasn't already.
