It's been 11 years since this photo was taken. Eleven years since celebrating my 10th anniversary with the American Heart Association by helping to organize an event here in Times Square where we set a Guinnes World Record for the number of consecutive chest compressions at one time. Now celebrating twenty-one years of dedicated service to advancing our mission across the region, this remains one of my most cherished career highlights. I had no idea more that my work with the American Heart Association would be so transformative - personally and professionally. I know that the laws that have been passed, the programs that have been implemented, the outreach that has been achieved...all has saved countless lives and made our day-to-day healthier and happier.
On Thursday, May 14, I will walk because I know that with every step, I'm making a difference in someone's life. And now I walk for a healthier future for our two girls. Will you be a Heart Walk Hero with me?
