Walking With Purpose - For My Dad, For My Brother, For Every Heart We Fight For
Before I ever became a nurse, I made a promise. After watching my dad survive multiple cardiac arrests, I told him that if he came back to us, I would go back to school and become a nurse. I had no idea that moment would change the entire course of my life.
As a young single mother, my parents were my foundation. Their strength carried me through some of the hardest years of my life. What I didn't know then was that my father's fight would become the beginning of my own journey - one that has shaped me personally and professionally in ways I could never have imagined.
Today, I am proud to stand alongside the incredible CVI team at St. Joseph's as the Administrator, working every day to improve cardiovascular care for families just like mine. And this year, like every year, I walk with purpose. I walk with pride. And most importantly, I walk for my father and my brother - two men whose battles and bravery inspire me to make a difference in every patient's life.
This walk is personal.
This mission is personal.
And your support truly matters.
If you're able, please consider donating to help advance cardiovascular care, support patients and families, and honor the loved ones we walk for. Every contribution - big or small - helps save lives.
