In July 2025 I suffered from a stroke due to a PFO (a small opening between the heart's upper chambers) - I lost my speech entirely and movement in the right side of my body. But I consider myself lucky because I found my way back and regained my abilities.

 

I walk to create awareness for strokes and cardiac arrests as 9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed. But we can change this.
