2026 Detroit Heart and Stroke Walk & 5K
Hearts at Home
Hearts at Home is more than a name—it’s who we are and how we serve. As team members from Henry Ford at Home: Home Care, Hospice, and Infusion, we step into people’s lives during some of their most vulnerable moments. We care for patients in their homes, where healing, comfort, and dignity matter most. Every day, we witness the strength of the human heart—not just physically, but emotionally and spiritually—in our patients, their families, and in one another.
Supporting the American Heart Association is deeply personal for our team. Heart disease and stroke touch so many of the lives we care for, and often our own. The mission of the AHA aligns with the work we do daily: improving outcomes, educating communities, and giving people more time, more moments, and more memories with the ones they love. By fundraising all year long and walking together each June, we are investing in prevention, research, and hope—for our patients today and for future generations.
What makes this journey special is how we do it—together. Our fundraisers aren’t just about raising dollars; they’re about building connection, joy, and unity across our services. From creative challenges to shared celebrations, every event reminds us that teamwork and compassion are at the heart of great care. The Heart Walk is our culmination—a proud moment when we come together as Hearts at Home, walking with purpose, gratitude, and unwavering commitment to a cause that truly matters.
Thank you for supporting our team and for helping us turn care into action, and action into lasting change.
