Every day too many families lose someone they love to heart disease or stroke. My family experienced such tragedies losing our Matriarch to a heart attack in 2018, followed by our sister to a heart attack in 2020. Just recently a dear cousin suffered a stroke in 2025. Thankfully she survived due to the groundbreaking research and medical advances provided from funding from the American Heart Association.
