On January 11, 2017 I had the scare of my life.  So glad my wife followed her instincts and called 9-1-1.  It was the warning signals, of a heart attack, that I was having.  I thought it was just indigestion. When the paramedics arrived, all my vital sign were good. They were bringing me in for observation.

I actually had a heart attack, in the ambulance, on the way to the hospital.  I had a STEMI (ST elevation myocardial infarction) 100% blockage RCA (right coronary artery) with a Stent Placement.

I've had two other incidents since (May 2017, Sept 2017).  The second time (May 2017) I had a mid LAD blockage.  In Sept 2017 there was an issue with one of my stents. I now have a total of 5 stents.  Knock on wood I haven't had any other issues to date.  I've lost weight & stopped smoking.  Yay Me!!

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ​
