2026 Broward Heart Walk
Keiser University
Nine out of ten people who experience cardiac arrest outside of a hospital do not survive. In many of these cases, bystander CPR was not performed — but this is something we can change.
Cardiac arrests can happen anywhere: at work, at home, on athletic fields, and in neighborhoods across our community. Our readiness and willingness to act can mean the difference between life and death.
The Student Occupational Therapy Association at Keiser University is committed to engaging in events that promote occupational justice. An important part of occupational justice is being aware of the needs within our community and creating opportunities to support and empower others. Participating in the Heart Walk allows us to take meaningful action while advocating for health, safety, and equitable access to lifesaving education.
Now is the time to unite and make an impact. Every walker who joins and every dollar donated helps fund critical research, expand CPR training, and create more lifesaving moments.
Help us reach our goal by joining our team or making a donation. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
