Kawasaki disease is a childhood illness that causes inflammation (swelling and irritation) in the blood vessels throughout the body. The main concern is that it can affect the coronary arteries, which are the blood vessels that supply blood to the heart. If these arteries become inflamed, they can weaken or stretch, sometimes forming small bulges called aneurysms. If not treated early, this can lead to heart problems. Jett was diagnosed at 4 months old and has been diagnosed with coronary artery disease from Kawasaki disease. Jett's Mom and Dad want to spread awareness about Kawasaki disease and the affects it can have on your heart if left untreated. Knowing infant CPR can save lives!
It's time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
My family and friends walk to Save Lives. Help us reach our goal today.
