Some people change your life in a lifetime. Emery changed ours in six days.
I am walking in memory of my niece, Emery Catherine Bordelon, who was diagnosed with HLHS at 20 weeks gestation. We were blessed with six precious days with her after she was born, and those moments will forever live in my heart and always be cherished. The love she brought to our family will last forever.
As Emery’s aunt, “Ditty,” and the coach leading our team, I walk to honor Emery and support the mission to fight for every heartbeat.
My niece will forever be my angel.
