9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital die. In most of those cases, bystander CPR was not performed.

 

 

A spouse knew the symptoms, called 911, and performed CPR. My brother survived.

 

I had a mitral valve condition and, in 2019, I had open heart surgery to repair it. 

 

I'm uniting with family, friends, and colleagues to raise money, take part in the May 30 Heart Walk, and save lives. Every dollar donated, means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
