This day means so much to our family. We walk to honor the lives impacted by heart disease, stroke, and congenital heart defects — and to celebrate the lives saved through early detection, treatment, and research.

On June 1, 2021, at just 7 days old, our Loui Patrick Fugleberg underwent life-saving open heart surgery. Now, nearly 5 years later, we get to watch him sprint across the SURVIVOR finish line.

Over the past 4 Heart Walks, your generosity has helped Team Loui raise nearly $12,000 for the American Heart Association. We are endlessly grateful — because donations truly help save lives and give families like ours hope.
