My son, Harrison, is almost five years old, and he has already faced more challenges than most do in a lifetime. Born at just 32 weeks, he was diagnosed with congenital heart defects including L-TGA, pulmonary stenosis, and VSD. In 2022, he underwent open-heart surgery, and after complications, he was diagnosed with electrical heart disease, leading to a second open-heart surgery to place a pacemaker. Despite everything, he continues to show incredible strength and resilience every single day.
I walk not only for him, but for all the children and families affected by congenital heart disease. There is no cure yet for these brave warriors, and that is why I am committed to raising awareness and fighting for answers.
It’s time to unite, take action, and save lives. Every dollar donated means more people trained in lifesaving CPR, more research, and more lifesaving moments for families like mine. Together, we can turn bystanders into lifesavers.
I walk to save lives. Help me reach my goal today.
