My mother, Irene, had a longtime battle with strokes & congestive heart failure, and the last nine months of her life she struggled with numerous ailments stemming from those heart issues, but she always remained strong. She conquered every obstacle and amazed everyone around her. She appeared to be making great improvement and was looking forward to Christmas, when she passed unexpectedly on December 16, 2014 in Corona, CA.
Her energy, enthusiasm, and zest for life were unparalleled. A moment could never pass without her dancing, singing, telling a joke, or creating a game to entertain those around her. Her endearing smile, strength of spirit, and everlasting sense of humor will leave a permanent impression on our hearts.
My mom is Why! I'm now older than my mom was when she had her first stroke and I can't even imagine what she went through internally (I was just a child when it all first started)! Join me in honoring her memory and supporting others with heart disease through the American Heart Association!
Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Thank you in advance for your support!
