I walk in the 2026 OKC Heart Walk because stroke remains the leading cause of disability and the 5th cause of death in Oklahoma. Every year, nearly 2,000 Oklahomans face the life-changing impact of stroke and its complications, patients, families, and entire communities forever affected.

As a healthcare provider, I have the privilege of standing beside these patients in their most vulnerable moments. I witness their battles, their resilience, and their determination to reclaim their lives. Their courage turns every step I take into something meaningful.
