I'm fundraising to help the American Heart Association (AHA) continue to win the fight against heart disease.  Their cause is very important to me as heart disease has had a major impact on my family.  In continue to run each year and fundraise to honor and remember my father who dies from heart issues when he was only 46; my sister and her child who passed away from an aneurysm during her pregnancy; and my younger brother whose heart eventually gave out from his long battle with Duchesne muscular dystrophy.

It is important to me to honor their legacy; create hope for others who are also battling through fighting heart disease; and to help be a good role model to my amazing daughters as they grow up.

There are many great causes out there, but I hope you can consider any amount you can offer to help support the AHA and their mission.  Thanks for your time!
