In October of 2024 my brother suddenly passed away.  His cause of dealth was listed as hypertensive cardiovascual disease, his heart was enlarged as well.  My brother was a college athlete, but was never diagnosed with anything related to cardiovascual and was unaware he had an enlarged heart.  He had just had his 40 year old physical 8 months prior to his passing.

 

Cardiac arrests happen at work, in homes, on athletic fields and in neighborhoods everywhere, and the readiness of our community can be the difference between life and death. ​
