In 2024 Jackson was born and 3 weeks later diagnosed with coarctation of the aorta. He spent a week in the CICU and ACCU at Cincinnati Children's after open heart surgery, where every member of his team took care of him like he was their own! A few months later the cardiac cath team cared for him the same! Jackson has grown into a healthy, happy, rambunctious, and energetic two year old living a life without restriction thanks to the care of all members of the heart institute at Cincinnati children's! His mom, a nurse in the CICU for 12 years, knows how special our heart babies are, and also walks for all those who have battled and are still battling heart disease!
