My journey to becoming a mother to two wonderful babies was marked with gestation hypertension and severe pre-eclampsia.  While I was fotunate enough to receive excellent care to keep me and my babies safe, not everyone is as lucky as I was.

Maternal health issues, especially preeclampsia and hypertension, are on the rise.  These issues strike at any time and impact women regardless of age, body type, diet, and overall health.  

I run because I know that with every step, I’m making a difference in someone’s life. And when combined with a million other Lawyers Have Heart heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke.
