Thank you for visiting my campaign page. This year, I’m taking on something incredibly meaningful to me, as I support the American Heart Association through the Go Red for Women – Woman of Impact campaign. I’m inviting you to stand with me as I work to bring more awareness, more research, and more hope to women everywhere.
My reason for joining this mission is very personal.
At 47, I had a heart attack, and this was an experience that changed my life forever. I was diagnosed with Spontaneous Coronary Artery Dissection (SCAD), a rare condition that can strike even healthy hearts without warning. That day, I realized how fragile life can be and how important it is to pay attention to our bodies.
I also lost my best friend, someone who didn’t get checked when warning signs appeared. Her loss drives me to raise awareness about women's heart health because early detection can save lives.
Now, as a Woman of Impact with the American Heart Association, I lead my team, Her Heart Matters, to spread awareness and fund research that helps to prevent tragedies like mine. Every donation makes a difference by giving women a chance to live longer, healthier lives.
