I am thrilled to announce being selected as a 2026 Woman of Impact with the American Heart Association! This mission means everything to me especially after losing my father to cardiovascular disease at 17, during my senior year of high school. His memory fuels my passion to bring heart‑health awareness and education to my community.
Cardiovascular disease is the No. 1 killer of women and the Go Red for Women Woman of Impact campaign is changing that by rallying women to stand together, take action, and demand better. For far too long, women have been underrepresented in research, undertreated, and overlooked, but together, we can rewrite that story.
This movement is about more than wearing red, it is about women uplifting each other, advocating for better access to care, championing research, and driving real change at every age and stage of life.
