Hi, I’m Sophia!

When I was 16 months old, I got really sick with something called Kawasaki Disease — it made my eyes red, my tongue look like a strawberry, and gave me a fever that just wouldn’t go away. My parents didn’t give up. They trusted their gut, asked questions, and got me the treatment I needed just in time to protect my heart. Today, I’m healthy, strong, and full of energy — and we walk to celebrate that!

I’m walking to help other kids and families learn about Kawasaki Disease, to thank the doctors and nurses who help little hearts like mine, and to remind everyone to always listen to that little voice that says, “something’s not right.” Thank you for supporting Sophia's Heart Heroes Team — every step helps more hearts stay healthy and full of love!
