Life is Why! Join me in supporting the American Heart Association!
This year marks my 17th consecutive year walking with Zurich in the American Heart Association Heart Walk. What began as a way to honor a loved one has become a cause that is deeply personal to my family.
Each year, we walk in memory of my father-in-law, Ron Skidmore, who passed away from a heart attack at the young age of 55. Sadly, my children and I never had the opportunity to meet this wonderful man, but his memory continues to inspire us with every step we take.
This year's Heart Walk carries even greater meaning. In May, my brother survived a heart attack and is now awaiting open-heart surgery in September. His journey is a powerful reminder that heart disease can impact any family, at any time, and that the work of the American Heart Association is more important than ever.
I'm not just walking. I'm Heartwalking.
By participating in the Heart Walk, I'm helping raise awareness, promote healthier lifestyles, and support lifesaving research that gives families hope. Every dollar donated helps fund advances in prevention, treatment, and recovery for those affected by heart disease and stroke.
Please consider supporting my fundraising efforts. Together, we can help create a future where more people get to enjoy healthier, longer lives with the ones they love.
Thank you for your generosity, your encouragement, and your support. Every step and every donation truly makes a difference.
