In a heartbeat, things can change.
In February 2026, I began experiencing rapid heart beats (tachycardia) as confirmed by my Apple Watch. I felt uneasy, and out of control.
I visited my primary doctor and she referred me to a cardiologist (heart doctor).
I am currently wearing a device (Holter monitor) that monitors the electrical activity of my heart, so my care team and I can make the decisions on how to treat the fast heart beats.
As I wear this monitor, and await my test results, I invite you to partner with the American Heart Association and other stakeholders so we may learn how to live the happiest and heart-healthiest lives we can.
Please join me on September 26th, 2026 at Atlantic Station for the FREE American Heart Association Heart Walk to show your support. And if you are so inclined, please consider making a donation to the AHA to fund research, provide community resources, and train people to perform CPR.
80 cents of every dollar goes directly to the cause.
Thank you SO much!
