Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.  

Here's MY WHY:

Why I walk, Why I donate, Why I am passionate about the Heart Walk ? It started with the birth of my grandson and continues because of my son.  My now 13 yr. old grandson was born with a heart defect.  He had 2 open heart surgeries before he was 6 months old.  He’s now doing well but still has to see a heart specialist every year.  My bonus son died last year on Thanksgiving day from a massive heart attack.  He was too young, and this one still hurts. However, his death has inspired me to press on and continue to help make a difference in the lives of others anyway that I can.  These are my Why’s.
