In July 2025, I lost my brother, Myshan Pettis, at just 36 years old after a massive heart attack in his sleep. Losing him changed the way I think about time, health, and the impact we can have while we’re here.

This year, the Jermain Pettis Charity Golf Classic took on a deeper meaning. Through the support of our sponsors, participants, and friends, we raised $6,000 for the American Heart Association in Myshan’s memory.

My goal is simple: honor my brother, raise awareness about heart health, and support the research, education, and lifesaving work that can help other families avoid the kind of loss our family experienced.
