This year, I'm participating in the American Heart Association's Bay Area Heart Walk in honor of my mom, Lee Humphrey, who passed away this June at age 91. In her later years, she had heart issues that affected her daily life and wellbeing, but at age 87, she was eligible for a simple procedure that controlled her AFib (heart arrhythmia) and risk of stroke, making a huge difference in her quality of life. I was very fortunate to have her in my life for so long, due in part to the research and advancements made by the Heart Association. In her honor, I've started my fundraising with a $10,000 donation to help continue this critical work. Will you join me?
With your donation, you can make a difference in someone’s life. And when combined with a million other Heart Walk Heroes across the nation, we have an even greater impact toward curing heart disease and stroke. And, Your donation will fund groundbreaking research that literally keeps hearts beating and helps people have longer, healthier lives.
Please help me exceed my goal today! Thank you!
With heart,
Andrea
