This cause remains deeply personal to me. Last year, I shared that my mom had survived multiple heart attacks. This year, I'm grateful to share that she was able to undergo heart surgery to repair a hole in her heart and address ongoing cardiac issues. Watching her journey firsthand has reinforced how important advances in heart care can be—and how much they matter to families like mine.

If you know me, you know I bring a little competitive energy to everything I do. This year, Team Totally Amped is embracing an 80s theme and rallying around our team motto: "Totally Amped. All Energy. All Heart." We'll even have team t-shirts so we can represent in style on walk day! Every step we take and every dollar we raise helps support the American Heart Association's mission to fight heart disease and stroke.
