In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
On August 19, 2026, my family's lives changed forever when my dad unexpectedly passed away from cardiac arrest at just 48 years old. Losing him so suddenly has made the importance of heart health incredibly personal to me. There was no warning, no time to prepare, and no chance for us to say goodbye. His death has shown me just how quickly everything can change—and how important it is that people have the knowledge, resources, and support they need when a cardiac emergency happens.
That is why I am participating in the 3-mile Heart Walk in Pittsburgh on September 12th. I am walking in memory of my dad and in honor of everyone whose lives have been affected by heart disease and cardiac arrest.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don't survive. Behind every statistic is a person, a family, and a story. My dad is my story.
In a heartbeat, you could be the difference. Your donation helps support lifesaving research, education, CPR training, and resources that can give families a better chance at a different outcome.
Whether you are able to donate, share my fundraiser, or simply keep my family in your thoughts, every bit of support means more to me than I can put into words.
I'm walking for my dad. I'm walking for our family. And I'm walking for the hope that one day, another family won't have to experience the heartbreak of losing someone they love this way.
Help me reach my goal today. â¤ï¸
