I'm walking in support of the American Heart Association—an organization that has shaped my life in the most personal way. I was born with a congenital heart defect and underwent the Fontan procedure, along with multiple lifesaving surgeries that made it possible for me to be here today.
Because of ongoing research, innovation, and the dedication of medical teams, I was given a chance at life—and that's why this cause means so much to me. Every step I take is for the science, the caregivers, and the future patients who deserve that same chance.
If you're able, please consider supporting this mission to fund lifesaving research and fight heart disease.
