I'm walking because of my daughter, Sarah.
At just a few weeks old, Sarah was diagnosed with complex congenital heart defects. Since then, she's endured multiple heart surgeries, countless appointments, hospital stays, and more challenges than any child should ever have to face. Yet through it all, she has shown incredible strength, resilience, and the biggest smile.
Every step I take is for her and for every child and family facing heart disease. I walk to honor how far she's come, to raise awareness, and to help fund the research and education that give families like ours hope.
If you're able, I'd love for you to join Sarah's Sweethearts at the American Heart Walk on September 26 at the Velodrome. If you can't walk with us, please consider making a donation. Every dollar helps support lifesaving research, education, and programs that make a difference for heart families.
Thank you for supporting Sarah and for helping us create a future where every child has the chance to live a long, healthy life.
