This year's Heart Walk will take place on Saturday, September 26th at the Kensico Dam in Valhalla.
I am super late with my fundraising efforts this year. This summer flew by! Before I knew it, Bryan was back at College and it was August 31st. With the walk being a little more than three weeks away, I really need your support. This walk means so much to me, and I am determined to reach my goal. I know that with every step I take, I am saving lives!
This will be my 23rd walk with the American Heart Association and although my son and co-captain, Bryan Heindl will be unable to join me, he will be there in spirit! However, I am very happy to share that my husband, Paul, will be by my side this year!
As always I will be walking in memory of my Dad , Jimmy Gurran who was the bravest and strongest person I have ever known! It was the Love that he had for his family and friends and the compassion and kindness that he showed others that made his Heart so strong! He will Forever be in the Hearts of his Family and Friends!
This year, I will be walking in memory of my Aunt Susie who had a Heart of Gold and will always have special place in my Heart!
I will also be walking in memory of my mother-in-law, Maria Heindl. I was truly blessed to have her in my life!
Finally, I will continue to walk in memory of my dearest friend, Elena Stefanizzi, who was taken from her loved ones way too early in life! Having her as my friend was a true blessing!
Please help us reach this life saving goal by donating today. Together, we can make healthier, longer lives possible for everyone.
Have a Heart and Help us Make a Difference!
