This year we will be joining the Heart Walk, with my husband Jon as a survivor from his heart attack.
Reflecting back, Jon's surgery was pretty amazing with how quick they were able to complete it. The procedure and technology was so good... He was in the Cath Lab for about 5 minutes and in that time they cleared out the blockage in the artery and gave him some cool titanium alloy hardware ;) aka, the stent. Time is so important when it comes to this.... Please consider donating today which helps towards CPR training and continuing research and new technology.
In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
9 out of 10 people who suffer cardiac arrest outside the hospital don’t survive. Most of the time, it’s because no one nearby performed CPR. But together, we can change that.
Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
Extraordinary starts with YOU. Help me reach my goal today!
