My mom had a rare congenital heart defect that caused her to have her first heart attack in 2013. She flatlined more than 20 times and then spent 57 days in the ICU (70 days total in the hospital) with multiple-organ failure. With God and her doctors' help, we were able to get almost 12 more years with her, but she sadly passed away from her second and final heart attack on New Year's Eve in 2024. She was only 54 years old.
