American Heart Association Heart Walk

Nearly 1 in 100 babies are born with a congenital heart defect in the United States.

We are walking for our son, Heath, who was born with a CHD. He was diagnosed with Tetralogy of Fallot and underwent open heart surgery at only 5 months old. He is such a strong and happy little man that brings so much joy to everyone around him!

Extraordinary things happen when people take action. A small step. A simple skill. A lifesaving moment. Heart Walk brings communities together to create health and hope for every heartbeat. Every walker who joins, every dollar donated, means more people trained in CPR, more research and more lifesaving moments for everyone.
