I walk because I see firsthand the impact of cardiovascular disease every day in my role as a Cardiac Rehab Program Coordinator at Providence St. Joseph. I work closely with patients recovering from heart disease and stroke, guiding them through structured exercise, education, and lifestyle changes that are critical to improving their health and preventing future events.
Going beyondd clinical care,I focus on empowering patients and their families with the knowledge and tools they need to take control of their heart health. From teaching risk factor management and heart‑healthy behaviors to providing ongoing encouragement and support, I strive to make a lasting difference in their recovery journey.
Participating in the Heart and Stroke Walk is a meaningful extension of my work. It allows me to advocate for awareness, support life-saving research, and stand alongside the patients and families I serve, reinforcing my commitment to helping our community live longer, healthier lives.
