I have spent many years working in the language field, and a big part of that work has been helping people feel seen, heard, and understood, especially in underserved communities.
As a National Board Certified Medical Interpreter, I had the chance to support people in very personal and often vulnerable moments. That experience stayed with me. It reminded me that communication is not just about words. It is about access, trust, dignity, and making sure people can understand their care and feel included in the process.
That same purpose continues in the work I do today in Clever Care Health Plan. Whether we are creating culturally sensitive materials, supporting community outreach, or helping members feel more connected to their health and lifestyle, I still see the heart of the work as the same: helping people understand, participate, and feel cared for.
That is why the Heart Walk feels meaningful to me. It is another way to support health awareness, education, and the communities we serve.
I am proud to join Marketing Moves and be part of this effort with my team.
