In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
18 months ago, I went to the hospital for what I thought was heartburn, but because it was in my chest my doctor wanted it checked out. The discomfort was not debilitating, it was more of a tightness. Mind you, I have my blood work done yearly, dont have high cholesterol, and don’t have high blood pressure. Well after two days of being in the hospital and all sorts of tests, it was determined that I had almost a complete blockage of my LAD artery and needed to have open heart surgery the next day.
It’s because of divine intervention and the wonderful people of the American Heart Association that my story continues. The workers at Mercy Hospital are incredible. Their empathy, bedside manner, and level of care is second to none. Thank you to everyone at Marcy, thank you to the American Heart Association, and thank you to my friends and family who have been by my side every step of the way.
Please support this organization; they saved my life.
