In a heartbeat, you could be the difference.
As a Emergency Medicine PA and educator, I spend a lot of time teaching people what to do when something goes wrong. But lifesaving care doesn’t always start in an emergency department or a hospital. Sometimes it starts with the person standing next to you.
That’s one of the reasons the American Heart Association’s mission matters so much to me. CPR education, cardiovascular research, advocacy, and community awareness all give people a better chance when seconds matter.
This year, I’m especially excited to bring together students, faculty, staff, friends, and family from across Saint Joseph’s University’s School of Health Professions for the Heart Walk. We’re walking as one SHP team—PA, PT, OT, Pharmacy, and beyond.
Join our team, walk with us, donate if you can, and help us build a community that knows how to show up when it matters.
