Saving and improving lives can be as simple as taking a walk—but for me, this walk is deeply personal.
As a mom of two little girls, I think a lot about the world I want them to grow up in. I want them to know strength, hope, and the power of community.
In 2017, my dad passed away from complications following open-heart surgery. As a teenager, he survived cancer thanks to radiation treatments that saved his life at the time but caused irreversible heart damage years later. His journey is the reason I walk. His memory is the reason I fight for a world where families don’t have to lose the people they love to heart disease.
For the past 10 years, I’ve been proud to work at the American Heart Association - an organization committed to the very research, advocacy, and lifesaving breakthroughs that could change stories like my dad’s. And every year, the Heart Walk reminds me why this work matters.
But I can’t do it alone.
I’m walking with a team of heart heroes because together, we can create a world free of heart disease and stroke. Your support fuels the groundbreaking research that keeps hearts beating and helps people live longer, healthier lives. Every dollar truly makes a difference.
If you’re able, please donate to my fundraiser. Every step counts. Every gift matters. And together, we are helping save lives.
Have a heart and help me reach my goal today—thank you for being part of this mission with me.
